Construction

 

The hull, deck, and all bulkheads are produced using PVC cored vinylester/e-glass composite materials and VAI technology. M.A.T. 12, weighing below 3.4 ton excluding the keel, is approximately 1.5 ton lighter than monolithic hull, plywood bulkhead boats of comparable size, yet at the same time retaining a safe structure which can be observed only offshore racing boats.
